Corvallis (part of Tinexta Group), one of the early Information technology. operators in Italy has identified Utego - a Fintech specialized in financial aggregation – as the ideal partner to diversify its products offering by making available open banking services to its own clients.
This deal has been pursued and finalized by Daniele Melato, (Corvallis CEO) and Stefano Musso (CEO and cofounder of Utego). As Melato said “Our agreement with Utego is fully in line with our evolving range of products and services which allows us to present a completely unique offering in the financial market. In fact, all banks, including the mid-sized ones where a dedicated in-house I.T. department is unavailable, may provide access to open banking services carrying out their activity in full autonomy”.
"Utego App, designed for both IOS and Android, aims to showcase in its own dedicated marketplace, the most innovative services and products in Finance, Insurance, Telecoms and Energy Utilities."
"Ambrosetti presents the interview with Utego in this episode of Innotechcast - Leaders’ View on Innovation – podcast dedicated to the world of innovative start-ups"
"Giacomo Andreoli, Confinvest CEO, said: “We pursue our strategic goal aimed at identifying our best partners and further Open Bank innovation."
"This Italian start-up, which has only recently entered the market, is the first independent Italian Fintech (not controlled by a bank) to receive full authorization from the Bank of Italy."
"We consider independence from credit institutions in offering the aggregation service, an important competitive advantage."
"This start-up allows you to have all your bank accounts and bank cards readily available in just one app with just one log-in, without requiring multiple access on different internet platforms or mobile banking accounts."
"Independence is one of our key values. It means giving our citizens the option to aggregate their bank accounts without disclosing them to the very same banks. This way each bank neither can see the clients situation of their bank accounts in aggregate nor can be aware of it."
"I left my job at the bank to create a bank accounts aggregator"
"Utego app is also aimed at financial institutions, insurance companies and other utilities (telecoms, energy, pay tv providers etc…)"
"The Utego project has already demonstrated to be able to involve both an established investor such as Invitalia and private individuals who operate in crowdfunding circles."
"Interested parties can showcase their products and services in the marketplace, actively participate in an auction, interact with Utego’s users and receive industry analysis, aggregated information datapoints about financial habits and market trends. "
"Utego, an Italian Fintech start-up, received funding in excess of one million euros, of which about 509.000 from Two Hundred Crowd (200Crowd) and 540.000 in a subsidized loan dedicated to start-ups arranged by Invitalia."
"Utego, a company associated with AssoFintech, has just initiated an equity crowdfunding campaign on 200Crowd and aims to revolutionize the present financial customers experience."
